You would be surprised at even the manual version of the non-turbo Fiesta. The chassis tuning, steering feel and feedback are the best in the business. Its curb weight is also quite a bit less than the ST model. IIRC, they run at/under 2500lbs for a no option, manual hatch. An SFE hatchback w/ the 1.0 Ecoboost and a manual would be a unicorn at this point. More rare than an ST, lighter and capable of putting down 170ish hp with a tune and a few bolt ons. Im still itching one day to build a B-Spec Fiesta. Even without the turbo engine the car is just a hoot to drive with the manual transmission. And these days you can find a non-turbo Fiesta for under $3000 with lower mileage. Swap in the ST rear axle for the brakes and swap in a set of the Ford Racing coilovers. That would be a sick little track car that would last an eternity. Probably 110whp, 2400lbs, disc brakes, 15x7's and 205's. Flat out around every freaking corner. Think of them as a newer version of an Austin Mini. The autotragic transmission is the worst though. God help whoever buys one of those disasters.
