Who's going to be at VIR with SCMC Memorial Weekend

I am instructing/driving with SCMC club this coming weekend and wanted to see who else may be there, or wish they were going. I look forward to hanging out with fellow track buds as much as driving on track.

I want to go but im just starting to prep my car. I doubt ill be ready to hit VIR until fall

wanted to go but no roll cage on the 04 cobra vert so maybe next year with a new engine in my 94 5.0. 300000 miles on the 5.0 stock block and dont want to track the ol beast.

^Unfortuneately I did not see your post until now, and the event is over. I did see you tooling around the track though.

For those that did not make it, you missed 3 great days of track driving. The only club I have run with in 6 years that gives a driver 120 minutes a day of track time.

Always a great time with SCMC at VIR! The weather was excellent and we had Ford Racing there with their new 2013 GT500 and other great toys. I managed a personal best lap time of 2:18 in my '09 Mustang GT. Managed several :18 and :19 laps over the three days.

I was running the lightning with flames on it. Ended up running 2:35s-2:40s due to my stock brakes over heating. I went through a set of brake pads that only had 9000miles on them when I got to the track in 2.5 hours:rockon:
I had Brain Harris as my instructor very nice guy opened his trailer to me and gave me alot of tips. My wife was timing me I dropped 11 seconds off my first lap. Had a great time and will be going back.:beer:
I got a video I plan on posting but it is 33 mintues long and has me having a pit stop to get gas because I was running out on the track :bash:
