Will a 00 lightning blower work on a 4.6

Does any one know if it will bolt up to a stock intake or will i have to fabricate a new intake, also is there a place to purchase all the brackets and intercooling plumbing or will this have to be a pain and go custom i got the blower from a reapo friend of mine for 200 dollars so i figure it would be worth it

The 5.4 has a little over a 10 inch deck height the 4.6 is a tad under 9. Therefore the valley is much wider in the 5.4 The 2003 Cobra and Lightning use the same upper unit, however the Cobra feeds from the rear, not the top as the Lightning. You'd need the 2003 Cobra lower intakes/intercooler, you'd also need to get the items necessary to switch the head unit to a rear feed. The top feed like the L has would be out of the hood about 6-8 inches on an SN-95 car.

EDIT* Just saw the truck in your sig. If you plan on the install on the truck 4.6 it should clear the hood just fine. All you'd need would be the lower intakes/intercooler.
