Will A 99 Cobra Hood Fit And Shut Over The 03 Cobra Engine?

WILL A 99 COBRA HOOD FIT AND SHUT OVER THE 03 COBRA ENGINE? If not what mod will have to be done?

Doubtful, the supercharger sits up pretty high

Not only that but the 03/04 Cobras have like a 1/2 inch shorter hood. The front end has a little more slope than previous years.

I would trade my black 01 hood for a black 03 hood if that is what you have.

Actually my car is a 01 GT that has been converted, I have a 2000 Cobra R hood on it now so I'm just wondering about clearance.

I wish I could remeber the forum, maybe ModFords. Anyway someone there intalled an '03 Eaton setup on his '99 and the stock hood closed. Might have to remove the liner but it will probably work.

Dunno:shrug: But it will fit on the '03 and 04 V-6 Mustang

I put the Eaton on my 99 Cobra and the hood closed with no problems.
