back in 99 when i bought my cobra about 2 months later i recieved a cool kit in the mail. it had a leather cobra key chain, a book on the history of mustang, a leather cd case with the cobra emblem on top, and a 4 cd set of some great music. did anyone else get these when they bough their cars?

it was 60s and 70s cruise music. it was put out by rhino records. i never saw it anywhere else so i guess ford had the compilations made for that project. great kit. i was shocked when i recieved it.

I heard 99 cobra owners also got leather jackets to help ease the tension created by the low horsepower ratings during the recall fixes

i didnt get a leather jacket but i definately got hp tension. more than i could handle in fact

Its actually a pretty nifty Roots Leather Jacket...think i'll keep it.
