Been thinking about getting my armrest wrapped in leather. Anyone done this before and have pics? Or has anyone ever painted one just out of curiosity?

When you say "painted" what exactly do you mean? Body color? Or same as stock redyed?
You can re-dye the vinyl with the proper paint. Contact Tony M. @ Latemodel Restoration for that. (or get a new one).
As far as wrapping one...I'm sure it's been done but I haven't see it.

By painted I mean sand off the texture so its smooth, and painted body color or something. A lot of mini truck guys do that to their dash. Probably wouldn't fly on a Mustang, but you never know......
And I'm sure people have wrapped them before too. I think it would really "class up" the interior.

The only reason I wouldn't wrap it is because of the change in texture. Other than using the smooth leather like what's on the seats it would be a bit of a stretch for me.
