Basically, just as Lee said. Yes, all those parts are indeed different. Look at the stickied thread at the top of this forum (I started the thread btw) and you'll see a pretty complete list. The point I was making wasn't that a Cobra is the same as a 5.0. I'm just saying that very few of the parts bring premium pricing over standard 5.0 parts. Different parts doesn't necessarily make them more valuable. Lets go over your list. heads - with so many variations of gt40 heads out there, plus aftermarket aluminums, they aren't highly sought after. intakes - same deal as heads. Plenty of better performing versions out there, plus FMS even has them new still. Or pull them from the explorer motors, etc. TB/MAF - MAF is a unique calibration, so no plug and play for anyone without the X3Z computer. TB is slightly bigger, no real net get and not sought after either. Injectors - standard 24# injectors that you can buy from 100's of sources X3Z computer - no biggie, there is no more demand for one than the A9L series. You can even program an A9L to be an X3Z with a simple piggyback chip 4 lug disc rear - bring a little more than a standard 8.8 rear, but I have seen them dirt cheap in salvage yards front discs - standard parts store availablity, taller hat, no performance gain Brake booster Perportioning valve - parts store available, only necessary if brakes are upgraded. Has different cam as well - I gave away my stock one, standard 5.0 price different skirts/wing/tail lights - those do indeed bring premium prices, although there are reproductions now for all. But those who want original pieces will pay more than standard 5.0 Grill insert - easy aftermarket piece wheels - brought a premium before the repros came out, easy 1000/set. A good set now brings about 600 or so last I saw. Heck, before the repros, the center caps were bring 50-100 EACH. But not now. Shifter is standard 5.0. There was a thread going a while back about the steering wheel issue, I can't remember what was decided on it though. I want to say there was another Ford product that was just like it. Perhaps a Taurus or Aerostar van at that time? T5 is hardly ANY different internally, and no one will pay a premium price for it used, as it is rated at 15 ft# more torque over a stocker due to the phosphate coated gears and other odds and ends. Shifter is standard 5.0, nothing special there.
