Took apart my k&n air intake to see if the screen was still by the maf and found this towards the top by the throttle body in the air intake tube. Any idea why it was in there?

Kinda thought that's what it was but I don't see the point. Guess I lost 25 hp guys I took it out it didn't even go in right. Lol
I thought that was the VTEC control module..lol
