I took today off. Coming home from an errand I saw something unusual right before our street. We live a half block off of Rt 28, a major east/west 2-lane route through upper MoCo. I parked and walked back with my camera. Our street is on the right just before the yellow sign down the road. The window is still open and the wipers still going. Looks like under my car after my spin in the mud at VIR. I talked with the driver. He was going slow and pulling onto the shoulder because of a fire truck behind him. Except there's no shoulder. The truck just fell over. Scared him to death. Since our street is a horseshoe that connects to Rt 28 at both ends, the police routed all of the traffic through our neighborhood during the cleanup. Four hours of stopped rush hour traffic on our street. Good thing I didn't need to go anywhere. A couple hours later I walked back down to get more pics, and the batteries died after just ths one. Everything back to normal now, except 80,000 lbs of trash were late for where ever they were going. :bash:
