Bayou - The reason why I stated the ricer thing (which I admit was taken a tad far on my part) was because you took one car, one time and worded to seem like it is a commonality for Z06s to run high 11s. When some says "zo6s run high 11s" that is a generalized statement. Therefore, the statement indicates that it is common to see them that fast, when the aren't. Low to mid 12s sure. High 11s, nope. Several people can atest to a mach 1 running 12.98 (can't think of who it was right now - I can find it on the registry) right off the showroom floor. But I dont' go around saying machs are high 12s because that would be stupid of me. Machs are (on average) low to mid 13s. Z06s are average low to mid 12s. There have been several comments on this forum generalizing what a particular car can run. When the fact is, there was one car that run a great time the one time it was taken to the track. I can't see how people can take that and say that is what the particular car runs. I have no problem with you, like you stated. I was just upset about all the "taking the best time, so that's what they run" kind of talk.
