Are zero pressure tires rough riding?

Looking at 285/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Zero Pressure, any good?

I've had Michelin Pilot Sports and they were great performing tires and lasted over 25k miles. The A/S version should be rougher, but I thought they might help a little in the winter and rain. I'm just not sure if I should go with the 0 pressure opiton.

These are not intened for the strip.

Thanks.

The ride is about the same, but the compounds they are made of can make the tires VERY slippery in the cold weather. I think the extra weight and cost and decreased traction in the cold weather make them a poor choice, especially if you are going to use them in the winter.

I don't have any personal experience, but from what I've read there's no reason to run these things if you don't absolutely have to.

The only thing I personally need to know is this: the C5 comes with runflats; the Z06 comes with real tires and a patch kit. Nuff said.
