which supercharger to purchase?

was debating on porting my heaton but decided not to waste my time and either go with a kb or whipple..would consider something used for the right price.not sure what the difference in all of them are not too familiar with aftermarket blowers...little help..much appreciated.

What exactly do you want to know? Both KB and Whipple are great twin screws. Main difference is the size ranging from 2.2 to 4.0, and of course the price. How about some more info on what you're looking for? Specific hp you're aiming? Budget?

If you really don't know which one then ask your Tuner which one they like more and have had better luck with. Then go with that one.

But anyway. What blower you get is determined by how much power you want, or can afford.

Whipple 2.3 around 600 up to 650 on gas, 750 on E-85
Whipple or KB 2.8 or 2.9 725 gas, 850? on E-85
Really big blower. Whipple or KB 3.6, 4.0, 4.2? Easy 800 to 1000 but not on your block or internals.

the reason why i ask is cause i hear certain kb have problems like the 2.4 i believe.just dont wanna buy something twice..looking to put down anywhere from 650 to 700 rwhp...

All joking aside if you are shooting for 700 then get either the 2.8, 2.9 or the 3.4 I just recieved the 2.9 in the mail today and getting it tuned on Saturday. I will post those results as soon as it's done.
