Smaller pulley and tune my friend. That's what everyone's gonna tell you on here since you're wanting to upgrade from stock. If you want 500 wheel then you're gonna have to get a port, boost a pump, bigger MAF or MAFia. POSI Race port $500, MAFia $160, BAP about $250 I believe. So you're looking at about $900 in parts before a tune (assuming you do the install of the blower and BAP yourself) Hope this helps!!

Dude you list a SCT2400, like what I run, in your sig.

The MAFia is an either or situation with a higher capacity MAF replacement being the other choice at the 500RWHP general range of power.

It is wise to choose one or the other at this level.

All that's not gonna happen for $800.....

As stated above the port, BAP and MAF/Mafia and a Tune......it will end up being more then 800 but pretty much as close as you can get.

I'm new to nitrous but you will still need supporting fuel mods and a good tune for that as well running you about the same as the first option money wise.

Of course no one is getting to 500hp on 800 bucks. 500 for the port, 200 for the tune leaves 100 bucks for everything else. Can't do it. Not even close.

My advice since you have a 2.93 pulley already is save
more money and collect used parts slowly till you have everything you need.

posi port and plenum to match is $600 plus shipping. You will also be hard pressed most places to get a tune for $200 especially with an upgraded fuel system

Doesn't matter if you don't have an suspension prep, that 470-500 is gonna have a hard time moving the car as the IRS bounces all over the damn place.

If it were me....
MMFLSFCs ($150)
Install ($200-250)
IRS Brace and Install ($150-200)

Then if there is any leftover let us know.

i spent 500.00 for a dyno tune, 450.00 for pullies, 100.00 for a mafxtender, 140.00 to install it all and i'm not even close to 500 rwhp. add 60# inj 400.00, bap 250.00 and a ported eaton 600.00 then you'll have your 500.

im just shy of 3k for my 2.3 install.

*used ba2800 135 shipped
*used 60# injectors 100 shipped
*used bap 160 shipped
*new hand held 379.00
*finally used 2.3 2150 shipped

everything new would add up to a hell of a lot more coin.

Buy used if possible. Ill sell u my home ported eaton m112 with 2.8 pulley on it for 350.00 shipped ,in a whipple box with foam to ensure no damage to the supercharger. Ill throw in a mac shrouded filter assembly for another 50.00 Thats a great deal, plus u could recoop some money by selling your old eaton. since ive already done work to this blower i remember posi saying he could upgrade it to his race port for around 200 or so. Make sure that price is correct with him, but thats the best i remember talking to him about it .

cobra

thanks everyone for the replies, i think i may just start building it for a kenne bell setup (fuel lines, injectors, throttle body, a smaller pulley etc and a tune). i figured it maybe be better to save my money for a kenne bell then waste it on little mods i wont need in the future. so far now im getting a ba2800, oval throttle body, a few other minor things and good tune. its not going to be 500. But for right now im ok with making 450
