loss of power when S/C hits about 10 psi and then flutters

I drive an 03 with a JLT carbon fiber intake, an accufab oval TB, steeda 2.81 in S/C pulley with steeda belt tensioner, SCT tuned, and a MAC off road H-pipe.

I recently noticed a loss of power when the S/C winds up to about 10 psi and it starts to feel like it is fluttering. Basically I can't put the hammer down without it doing this. Happens in all gears too. =(

Any ideas on what the issue could be??

So, the car was running fine prior to this happening? And then all of a sudden it started running like this? I'm just trying to get the story straight to help solve your issue. Does the boost gauge drastically drop when under WOT?

Maybe it's a missfire and could be something simple like you need new plugs or coils. Try checking your sparkplugs for a quick thing to check (wouldn't hurt anyways) and see how they look and maybe get some new ones. Report back to us and we will try to help you out.

It's weird how it runs. Cause it starts and runs great until you get on it and are pushing like 10 lbs. Then it's not a complete loss of power but you can feel it (Flutter is the best way to describe it). You can feel that it want to create the power but it feels like something isn't letting it. I will check the plugs and coils and see if that helps.

Check hoses for cracks or possibly not all the way on thus creating a vacuum leak. Also could be a bad boost bypass valve.

your not hearing a slight ticking sound are you? i hope not, and i hope this is an easy fix, check your plugs like others have stated, if you got a handheld, do some data logging and go from there.

Honestly, how hard do you drive your car?? does this happen randomly or every time you go WOT?

Lol I can't believe no one has asked this.....is your traction control off when you're going WOT?

I highly doubt he is spinning in all the gears with his mods, so his traction control is out of the question.

Check what others have mentioned, MAF counts, fuel filter etc. Also check to make sure your intercooler pump is working properly, also check coils and plugs. GL!

Sounds like a plug issue to me, Plugs are cheap honestly. I'd change them out and check the gap.
