Ford had tons of Fusions on display.

2013_NAIAS_1_109.jpg

It looks great in blue.

2013_NAIAS_1_110.jpg

This F-550 fire truck came complete a remote controlled water canon and thermal imaging equipment.

2013_NAIAS_1_111.jpg

Point and click fire fighting.

2013_NAIAS_1_112.jpg

The 2.0L EcoBoost powered Escape is a nice little SUV.

2013_NAIAS_1_115.jpg

GT500 Vert.

2013_NAIAS_1_117.jpg

I don't usually care for Verts, but this one looks great.

2013_NAIAS_1_118.jpg

5.8Ls of pure power.

2013_NAIAS_1_119.jpg

Looks hungry for Chevys.

2013_NAIAS_1_120.jpg

The engine that's changing it all.

2013_NAIAS_1_121.jpg

If this color were avaliable on a GT500 I'd own it.

2013_NAIAS_1_122.jpg

As good as the Gotta Have It Green paint looks in these pics it looks even better in person.

2013_NAIAS_1_123.jpg

Ford had this microscope setup so you could checkout the differences between some brand new EcoBoost parts and ones that had be worked hard for 150,000 miles.

2013_NAIAS_1_125.jpg

Ford is definitely proud of its EcoBoost engine lineup.

2013_NAIAS_1_126.jpg

The man himself, Ford CEO Alan Mulally, was on hand to answer questions from media outlets with far more clout than SVTP.

2013_NAIAS_1_127.jpg

1903 Ford Model A.

2013_NAIAS_1_128.jpg

More ST. Should SVTP add one to the fleet?

2013_NAIAS_1_131.jpg

The ultimate driving game.

2013_NAIAS_1_132.jpg

Mean.

2013_NAIAS_1_135.jpg

The new Lincoln MKC concept.

2013_NAIAS_1_136.jpg

The new Fusion looks so much better than this Buick that it's not even funny.

2013_NAIAS_1_137.jpg

I think this one is missing a few parts.

2013_NAIAS_1_139.jpg

I think we found a Green Lantern fan.

2013_NAIAS_1_140.jpg

The Tahoe is getting a little long in the tooth.

2013_NAIAS_1_143.jpg

The new Vette was the car everyone wanted to see this year.

2013_NAIAS_1_145.jpg

GM brought out previous generation Corvettes as well..

2013_NAIAS_1_146.jpg

Such as this C5.

2013_NAIAS_1_147.jpg

And my favorite body style, the C3.

2013_NAIAS_1_148.jpg

I'm still not 100% sold on the front end.

2013_NAIAS_1_149.jpg

Something about that lower grille opening reminds me of an F-body too much.

2013_NAIAS_1_150.jpg

I really like the roof line though.

2013_NAIAS_1_151.jpg

The slotted brakes and stingray badge are nice touches.

2013_NAIAS_1_152.jpg

I liked being able to get a good look at the aluminum chassis.

2013_NAIAS_1_153.jpg

I like the ear, but it reminds me of a Japanese cartoon character.

2013_NAIAS_1_154.jpg

The quad exhaust setup is pretty nice.

2013_NAIAS_1_155.jpg

Sadly, I thing the new Vette almost makes the new Viper look old.

2013_NAIAS_1_156.jpg

Compared to the Chevy it almost seems outdated before it even hits the streets.

2013_NAIAS_1_158.jpg

LEDs in the headlights must be the new "it" thing. Every new car seems to have them.

2013_NAIAS_1_159.jpg

You have to see a Cummins ISB outside of a truck to truely appreciate its size.

2013_NAIAS_1_160.jpg

Dodge seems to be milking the Charger platform for all it's worth.

2013_NAIAS_1_161.jpg

Ram seems to be quite proud of this award.

2013_NAIAS_1_163.jpg

The Cummins diesel comes complete with a huge cooling fan.

2013_NAIAS_1_166.jpg

The Grand Cherokee diesel seemed to get a lot of attention.

2013_NAIAS_1_167.jpg

I'd like to test drive one.

2013_NAIAS_1_169.jpg

The SRT8 GC would be tough to pass up though.

2013_NAIAS_1_170.jpg

Mopar was eager to show off some of their performance parts.

2013_NAIAS_1_171.jpg

An unpainted carbon fiber hood seems a bit 90's though.

2013_NAIAS_1_172.jpg

I believe I see where some of the Vette styling cues came from.

2013_NAIAS_1_173.jpg

Yep, I'm definitely seeing some similarities here.

just regular fluid changes (per the owners manual) with the CORRECT fluid, and filter changes. The ram has seen about 50k towing a 38 foot 5th wheel trailer behind it too

cant wait for the next batch, hoping to make it there this weekend.

You should post some pics of your rig.

Moar Pictures Please :)

You wouldn't have happened to have talked to Jesse Kershaw did you?

Jesse did happen to take a few minutes to talk to us.

Awesome photos and really enjoyed the commentary - THANK YOU

Thanks, I really appreciate that.

thanks for sharing..

I think a 2013 ram 3500 SRW will be my next truck

I really want to test drive a truck like that (especially with a trailer in tow). I just don't think I'd be able to bring myself to buy one though.

You guys should get a ST and put it through its paces and see what the little engine can do

I am really liking the Tuxedo Black Fusion Titanium

Like I have said before we have a Cummins ISB in our Freightliner M2 106 and it is a really nice engine with some getup and go for a Class 6 truck.

I like the idea of an electric focus for running around town.

We have more vette pics yet to post.

Any word on a SHO inspired fusion? I know there was rumors about a Fusion "GT" a few years ago.

There's a good chance that something is brewing.

Page 4 and I'm just getting started, let's get to page 5.

Yes, that's a prototype 500HP Volvo

2013_NAIAS_1_175.jpg

Grabber Blue (or something similar) seems to be popular with the Europeans this year.

2013_NAIAS_1_177.jpg

VW had about 7 Beetles on display. I think they're proud of it.

2013_NAIAS_1_179.jpg

Apparently you can get a Porsche in any color you want as long as it's silver.

2013_NAIAS_1_180.jpg

BMW is getting even deeper into the SUV with its new X1.

2013_NAIAS_1_181.jpg

These guys are waiting around to see the introduction of a new Mini.

2013_NAIAS_1_182.jpg

I really like the BMW 4 Series concept.

2013_NAIAS_1_184.jpg

The BMW i8 concept.

2013_NAIAS_1_185.jpg

BMW keeps rolling out new "i" car concepts. It probably won't be that long until we start seeing production cars hit the streets.

2013_NAIAS_1_187.jpg

Audi introduced a new SUV.

2013_NAIAS_1_188.jpg

Audi guy doing interview.

2013_NAIAS_1_189.jpg

Tesla show that when you don't have to worry about a gas engine you can make room for a lot of trunk space.

2013_NAIAS_1_190.jpg

Tesla had a new gull-wing doored SUV on display.

2013_NAIAS_1_191.jpg

Smart had a new "Urban Car" concept.

2013_NAIAS_1_192.jpg

For a little car these things were getting a lot of attention.

2013_NAIAS_1_193.jpg

The Audi R8 looks better every time I see it.

2013_NAIAS_1_194.jpg

2.0L Mercedes dual turbo diesel.

2013_NAIAS_1_195.jpg

Mercedes seems to be taking a cue from Ford trucks and increasing the size of the badge on the grille.

2013_NAIAS_1_197.jpg

Yep, I'd drive an AMG SLS.

2013_NAIAS_1_198.jpg

There's really nothing else like this car.

2013_NAIAS_1_199.jpg

I see lots of these things running around Myrtle Beach in the summer.

2013_NAIAS_1_200.jpg

SVT Icon.

2013_NAIAS_1_206.jpg

Loaded GT500 interior. Sweet

2013_NAIAS_1_207.jpg

The 2013 Mustang rear end looks great. I'm sure ZL1 drivers appreciate its improved aesthetics.

2013_NAIAS_1_208.jpg

Powerful.

2013_NAIAS_1_209.jpg

This car is sick.

2013_NAIAS_1_210.jpg

Tuxedo Black looks great on a Focus.

2013_NAIAS_1_211.jpg

Ford had lots of interactive exhibits for us to play with.

2013_NAIAS_1_212.jpg

This is the biggest Ford display that I've seen at any auto show.

2013_NAIAS_1_213.jpg

Ford had awesome LED video walls everywhere. I want one in my house.

2013_NAIAS_1_214.jpg

I want one of these for my house too.

2013_NAIAS_1_215.jpg

I'd love to see this thing in action.

2013_NAIAS_1_216.jpg

Ford plans on replacing the E-Series vans with its new full-size Transit over the next few years.

2013_NAIAS_1_217.jpg

Plan on seeing cars like this at the Daytona 500.

2013_NAIAS_1_220.jpg

With the facelift for 2013 Ford is positioning the Transit Connect to be it's small efficient family hauler.

2013_NAIAS_1_221.jpg

The new front is styled very much like the new Focus.

2013_NAIAS_1_222.jpg

The local media had camera crews everywhere.

2013_NAIAS_1_224.jpg

Some say I'm paranoid, but I had a feeling that I was being watched.

2013_NAIAS_1_225.jpg

VIA Motors debuted thier 800HP all electric converted Chevy truck.

2013_NAIAS_1_226.jpg

The amount of technology that is poured into this car is hard to fathom.

2013_NAIAS_1_227.jpg

Subaru had this little display to show what separates its all-wheel drive system from the competition.

2013_NAIAS_1_228.jpg

I present to you, the Gibbs Quadski.

2013_NAIAS_1_229.jpg

I like the ingenuity here, but I don't see it being terribly successful.

2013_NAIAS_1_230.jpg

This is about as nice as a Detroit day is going to get in the winter.

2013_NAIAS_1_231.jpg

A local performance shop had this Mach 1 painted up with a glow-in-the-dark pigment in the paint. I was surprised by how well it grows.

2013_NAIAS_1_232.jpg

Bond car complete with Bond girl.

2013_NAIAS_1_233.jpg

Shelby American had a few cars to unveil.

2013_NAIAS_1_234.jpg

I'm not a fan of their GT350 front fascia.

2013_NAIAS_1_235.jpg

I do like the wheels on this GHIG version though.
