I can't believe the lack of compassion some posters in this thread have. Carroll Shelby is 89 yrs old and has bad arthritis in his hands. He loves to sign as many items as he can and donates most of the proceeds to his CSCF charity for kids. I'm sure it pains him greatly not to be able to sign items anymore. Stop acting like such selfish douchbags and have some respect for the man!!
That being said...the Shelby Store should communicate with its customers a little better. My plaque took 5 months and was shipped to a wrong customer in a different province. I did eventually receive it.

What he said ^^^^

I totally agree. I dont mean to take away from the fact that he is 89 years old and again hope his health improves for non selfish reason. I am however upset with the store for selling and delaying an order for over 7 months now. I feel they have mishandled the issue. None of my frustration is aimed at him.

agreed its the store that let us down Not Shelby. They have no tracking system in place and I was told he signs whatever box he opens first. So yes I am ticked off at the Shelby store

spoken like a man that received his plaque

Dude I don't have a dash plaque.

Personally I think it's a complete waste of money.

On top of that it was revealed recently that the piece is made in China. So even if I DID want it before (which I never did) I don't think I would want a "Made in China" piece affixed to my American muscle car.

But that's just me.

They've already told customers if they want a refund then they will refund your money.

So stop whining about it and either wait or get your refund. I mean my God is it REALLY that necessary that you have to make a thread about it and go ON AND ON AND ON about it.

Enough already. The man is in the hospital... so no you may NEVER get your precious dash plaque. HOLY CRAP you probably should just sell your car right now and be done with it.

Oh sorry I didn't see your request to google douchebag.

Here's an excerpt from Wikipedia:

Slang uses

Douche bag, or simply douche, is considered to be a pejorative term. The slang usage of the term originated in the 1960s.[5] The term usually refers to a person, usually male, with a variety of negative qualities, specifically arrogance and engaging in obnoxious and/or irritating actions, most often without malicious intent.

I would say that the "obnoxious and/or irritating" describes your thread and responses pretty accurately.

Oh here's the link... I googled it for you ;)

Its pretty simple. If you dont like this thread dont post and add to it. Let the people (roughly 100) of us that the shelby store has screwed over come out here and complain. Think about that. They have about $35,000 in sells that they have mismanaged getting completed. Pretty sad customer service. As Brooks stated, some ordered theirs after us and already got their sigs.

Well I was trying to offer you some friggin help as to your situation and WHY it's taking so long.

But your buddy decided to call me names because he didn't like what I had to say I guess.

And he WRONGLY assumed that I had a precious... oh so precious... dash plaque.

Sorry for trying to help... WTF was I thinking?

Keep complaining about it though... I'm sure it will help move things along for you.

Maybe d-bag was to harsh a word to use in my post and I appologize to those that were offended and I can understand the frustration regarding the wait. Hopefully you guys that ordered your signed plaques will eventually get them. Just try to be understanding of Carroll's situation. I'm sure he will do his best to get all outstanding orders signed. Good luck guys!!

I really want this for my 2007 shelby - but I dont see anything on their site. Is it to late for me? :(

They are offering a plaque signed with "autopen" so you can still get it with an "authorized" signature, just won't be his real sig from his hand.

Just got my refund. Everyone in the plaque program should really do the same. Auto signatures are not worth $363 and the rest of the buy off is junk that would collect dust.

Yep called, vey unapologetic and kept pushing me towards a the goody bag and more waiting for the autopen which hasn't arrived or been configured. so basically no date in site. after 237 days no thanks. I would rather buy one later if i decide to, for a much lower price. Seriously anyone that pays $350 for the autopen plaque and a bag full of lapel pens is really dumb. If people thought the authentic signature was a waste of money, imagine the scrutiny your $350 autopen will bring. LOL.
