Where is the shop? Is it off the strip?

Yeah. It's a couple blocks off the strip. You have to turn down a side street, and then you see a little tiny sign that says "counts customs" with an arrow.

If you didn't know exactly where it was you wouldn't be able to find it.

I think it's a pretty awesome show so far. And if I'm not mistaken, the hot rod with the two blown motors on it is the same car I read about in a magazine a little while back that a guy used two 4.6 DOHC Cobra motors in. I wish they would've talked more about that car

oh brother that pic says so much.

i am pretty sure his show is set up.. however most "reality" shows these days are.

espeically shows like this. they've filmed storage wars at my storage unit place twice now. they were there last time i went. at least brandi and jarrod were. i asked one of the storage units employees about it and he said about 70% of the stuff in the lockers (at this place) was set up by the shows crew.

you can just google pawn stars to see what people have to say about it. and when you think about it its pretty obvious.

american pickers is pretty cool. the guys are likeble and the show seems more genuine.

i like "chasing classic cars". that's a "reality show" as well although a bit different. the guy has enough interesting stuff going on that it doesnt need to be scripted lol.

While the Count might know his "shit", Wayne Carini knows cars...the history, the numbers, the mechanics, etc. The guy is a walking encyclopedia on cars from the Model A to brand new Ferraris.

although it could be the same clip used over and over lol. pretty cool though seeing a car from our "level" sitting in front of his shop. not just $1M cars. maybe an employees DD? or the big man himself? :burnout:

you can also see how down to earth he is when he's out of town and driving a regular rental car and not some flashy luxury rental car. i like his old timer mechanic that he has wrenching on his cars. cant imagine how many years of experience he must have to be able to make a 100 year old car go from dead to running. wayne must pay him very well.

I have a hard time watching any of those shows since I know there's a lot of it that's staged. The history behind stuff is cool though..

Yeah you can tell there staged, but its just entertainment. Not like its over the top :shrug: I love history in general so I have no problem with it. All I watch is discovery channel, ID and History channel pretty much

I stopped reading after OP said Top Gear sucks.

TG USA sucks. Its terrible. Hosts are absolute garbage and irritating as fu*k. If the show got better hosts, it would be a better show IMO.
