sick install but curious to why you didnt go mongoose or a roots style?

Mostly Because i like the majority of the power to come in midrange to higher rpm where wheelspin can be somewhat controlled and minumized. I like the smooth pull like a locamotive feel under load. Roots blowers are torque monsters down low which equates to more tire spin. I like the fact that when driving a Paxton its characteristics during normal driving are simular to stock until you crack the throttle.
I like the headroom available to push it to 1000hp and beyond if I should decide to go all the way forged. I like the fact that you can barely hear it whine, which means most wont know I have 1 till after I've blown their doors off...lol

I like how they look without the engine cover. I if there is a difference between the stock vortech belt and that gates belt at stock boost levels.

Btw the tire spinning issue will be present lol. Wait till you drive it.

I know it will no way around that, heck i was spinning pretty good without the s/c. Wheelspin will always be there, but let me tell you it hooks much better since i upgraded my tires and rear suspension!

I saw a picture of one painted black. It looked good but I'm to lazy to take mine out just to paint it.

I painted mine with header paint but now that I have the motor out I am going to redo it with engine block paint and primer. The header paint was too easy to chip.

Coming along, curious to what kind of plastic wrapping that is you guys use for the fenders? i like how it sticks to the paint so you don't get any rubbing while leaning on it like a towel or even the actual fender covers they make

I can't remember what it's called but we get it from U-Line. It dosnt leave a residue and protects the paint. It's pretty nice stuff.

I've got more pictures of this for you guys that I'll have posted up soon.

Update: I Called Justin today for an update and he said the car has been done for a few days, they 're driving it making sure all is well. He said its running great! They had their dyno go out last week which got things behind but its fixed now. So all that remains is the dyno tune which will happen in the next couple of days. Should have the car back soon can't wait...been missing my Pony!

Damn thats a long install !!

My install started during JPC ' s busiest time of the year. their dyno went down otherwise I would have my car last week! I don't mind the wait, the folks at JPC are top notch. their excellent customer service made it easy for me to wait!
