the barrels in the room with the door creaked open look brand new, almost as if they were left in there after someone discovered they were leaking. Did you find anything in the drawers of any other small items that were mobile? Some kind of souveneirs?
No, I left everything there. I did however keep one of these: (Scanned it)

Nice Pics, I bet you could get at least 500 bucks for the yeller roller cart thingy on Ebay...

I found an old military chemical factory when I was in High School out side of Chicago. WE used to run around in the place all the time. They had bunkers out in the middle of fields and there were 20 foot craters all around like they were testing explosives or something.

I also got to see the railroad tracks that they supposedly moved Fat Man and Little Boy out of Argonne National Laboratory before they were dropped on Japan. They have a mountain bike path through there now and it goes right over the path.

Theyre talking about the other barrels with the radioactive stickers on them inside the crack of the door..

I didn't know how to use the damn thing but it did give off some signals as we approached the fenced off area that the fire occurred in - so we stayed clear. The rest was stable..

Man, I could use those big backup generators....you want to pull them out for me LOL?? Dude, make sure you wear a mask (even just a basic dust type will do) when you go down in those places....aside from the nuke shiat I'm sure there is exposed asbestos, lead pain chips and mold. Did you find any rats etc. spiders etc....that might be a good indication that it doesn't support life LOL!!!!

be very careful about going in too far. When you get into the actual bunker itself, into the security chambers you can get locked in if anything is still active. Helllllo this was setup for a reason. Can you figure it out.

If it looks like a light switch.....uh it probably isnt. Id be wandering there too hahahaha

Have you guy's seen the one Dawn of the Dead Movie where the Army lost those drums with the Zombies in them, and they had been looking for them for years. They ended up in that medical supply place, and well you know what happened next. All Hell broke lose!!! So watch out man if you go back, and you hear something saying, "Brains Brains i smell your Brains"! Get the Hell out of there ASAP!!! :lol1: :-D

Damn...thats ****ing awesome.

The area the fire occured in is probably blocked off quite heavily since there was a radioactive spill there. Although there has to be some activity in that place, as those barrels are QUITE out of place in that whole scheme of things.

Although the tag is a caution tag and not a warning tag. You could have gotten closer :p.

Next time go in with a radiation proof suit and look around in the OTHER area :).

Werid how they up and leave everything laying around. Makes you wonder if the spill was alot worse than "we" know about.
