Overall I'm pretty happy with them. They're pretty much everything I was looking for....Black leather with a black suede insert. One thing I don't like is all the knock offs out there but the authentic recaros are a quality seat. I was halfway tempted to bite the bullet and get a set of misano's or sportster cs's but I found a good deal on these plus I just couldn't get myself to do it. I like the 04 seats but the charcoal leather would have looked out of place in my car.

I also had a set of trs's and they were ok but the foam on the drivers side bolster was tearing and the black cloth was fading. They had less than 2k miles on them so I'm not sure why they were falling apart so quickly other than they weren't that great of a seat. If I was in the market again I wouldn't even consider corbeau's....but that's me....

With the vinyl/suede combo they go for around $850ish each and around $700ish with black cloth. You may be able to find a better deal if you shop around though....

95riosnake has the most beautiful car on all of SVTp...he can do whatever he wants :banana::banana::banana:

The concern would be the use of shoulder harnesses without a roll bar. A 3-pt belt allows your body to lean over in the event that the roof caves in. If your shoulders, head, and neck are held in place...

You don't Open Track that car I hope.

No I don't. A proper roll bar is in the works, I got the harness bar for a good deal and in the meantime it's a way to attach the harnesses better than anchoring them to the floor (big no-no).

Thanks lol, but that's definitely an overstatement IMO... There are far more beautiful cars on here

Like I said above, I don't open track the car. I barely have gotten to drive the car since I put the stroker in because I have since turned my efforts to buying a house which has been taking up more time than expected...time that I'd need to put in a roll bar, lol. I plan to address the issue this winter.

im def in the market now for new seats. most likely going with the microsuede cr1s as i like them alot and are somewhat affordable. i have my stock 03 cobra seats up for sale so once they sell i will be making the switch, and get a rear seat delete as well.
