  • At our power levels, you definitely need good tires on the rear, and some weight reduction is usually in order. As far as actual suspension, most of us try to get weight off the front end so as to improve front to rear weight distribution and thus traction. Common ways to do this are front skinny wheels and tires, utilizing weight savings batteries, removing the front sway bar (usually a track only thing....), and a bunch of us go with tubular K members in the front. While not absolutely necessary, using aftermarket adjustable struts and rear shocks will help with weight transfer control as well. If you're keeping the IRS, may want to consider stiffening it up a bit at least with IRS bushings. There's a ton of other things you can do with the IRS as well, but lots of Eaton folks have run 10's with Eatons without a ton of mods to the IRs.
