Never had an issue with the stripes, but then again my car isn't daily driven. Chemical guys makes a spray cleaner for our stripes, I use it every time i wash the car and it works great.
When washing my car I always use a foam cannon, then 2 bucket method, dry it off with a leaf blower then use chemical guy V07 spry detail with a plush microfiber cloth and then go over the stripes with there matte detailer spray sealant.
