I bought this used a couple years ago and slightly modified it for use on my '03 Cobra. All I really did was grind off the upper mounts which would really affect nothing if you wanted to use it on your GT500. Switched to a Killer Chiller is only reason for sale. I can text pics if interested...
Has anyone documented the coolant and/or IAT2 temperature difference before and after insulating their intercooler reservoir? I recently bought a larger unit, but REALLY like the way it looks and am afraid it won't look right. I already have adhesive sheet neoprene insulation, am just hesitant...
Unknown mileage. Has some bent fins and a lil paint peeling. Works great, no leaks. I bought it used a couple years ago and had it as part of a dual stock HE set up. $55 shipped. Thanks!
Yes, yes, I've searched, but every link I've found it seems you can only order by the case. I only need a few cans for my Killer Chiller install. Thanks!
Have had on my '03 Cobra for about a year and a half and it was low miles used when I bought it. This thing is a monster! Bigger than any of the aftermarket units for our cars. Had to extensively modify the bumper support and foam to get 'er in there, but it fit! I'm including those, but you...
In the process of going E85 and that's my pulley combo now. I do have Mac long tubes. I've seen at least one other person running it.... Too much? Thanks, Jay
Maybe 6000 miles on them. Work great, just switching to E85 so need bigger. Adapters are the plug ones - no wires to go bad. Can text pics if you'd like. $225
TVS with a 2.8 pulley. Heard some squealing at about 6k rpm and, upon looking underhood, noticed my redfire paint job on the BACK of the pulley was chewed up. The belt walked enough for a rib or two to ride up and over the pulley and rub the back. Tensioner is right in mid range of travel, but...
Got tired of my tires rubbing the front of the wheel wells since the QA1 moves the wheel base forward, so swapped in a UPR today. I thought there may be a little difference in the width, but now my wheels are tucked in so much they hit the coil overs! Anybody know the actual difference so that I...
Can't really find anyone who's used them? Seems like a nice little step up from 80s. Also, a local tuner is telling me that 88s wouldn't be enough for 725 rwhp on e85. I swear I've seen people say they've done close to that with 80s? I'd think the 88s would be fine. thoughts? Experiences...
I've searched but can't find anything other than pics on Google? Anything about what fittings to use and general ideas on how would be nice - thinking about upgrading to two lines out of hat. Thanks!
Can't seem to load pics from my phone but can text them if desired. Stock pulley guard/shield. Great shape. $35 shipped. 03 Cobra power steering bracket. $35 shipped. Heat exchanger hard lines - all the metal ones from the IC to the front. $65 shipped. JLT 12" x 4" red S&B air cleaner. Brand...
Slight size difference!
Notch the SNOT out of the bumper support.
Ground the top tabs off the exchanger and used leftover lugnuts as spacers since the tabs curve outward in front of the HE.
Thought maybe my IAC pump was weak as last fall (only got to drive for a couple weeks prior to winter storage) my temps were consistently 55* above ambient when fully heat soaked and moving. Finally able to get her back out today (yay spring!) WITH a new Jabsco pump and seeing the same temps -...
I JUST bought this from a forum member and it was a great transaction and exactly as he had presented, but after holding it up to my engine compartment I think it looks awesome, but I personally like my matte black CAI better (which I modified to accept a larger filter anyway). Just works better...
I didn't have a supercharger to intake gasket and used a thin bead of silicone when installing my TVS. It seems though that I have a small vacuum leak that is hiding from me and wondering if any body has experienced something similar with no gasket? Thanks!
