Found some old pictures in my photobucket of a build I did on my 2005 trx450R years ago. Thought some of you might enjoy. I sold her about 4 years ago.
Brand New
Added new wheels and tires along with Nerfbars. I went from 20 and 22 to 18 and 20's for MX. Also eliminated the front headlight.
Added exhaust and Handlebars
OOPS I Cracked my shock tower. Time for a new frame. This time it will be powder coated and gusseted with a bare gusset kit.
Gussets on Shock Tower
Decided to get her Low and Wide. Still Meeting all MX rules for a max of 50 inches wide. +3 A-arms along with Dominator 2 axle and SS brake Lines.
Decided to have the Shocks Re-valved and Re-Sprung for my weight by Derisi Racing. Went from 1 solid spring on all 3 shocks, to 3 up front for Zero Preload and 2 on the rear shock.
New Wheels from Douglas. Bead locks for the rear. Also double rolled edges for durability.
Partially in tear down over the winter
All assembled along with new front bumper from AC racing.
And just for reference on how much wider and lower
The very last picture I took and has the read beadlocks on. Before I sold her.
JuSSST Barely fit in my Ranger
Having some fun dialing in the suspension. About a 60-65 foot jump.
Making Full use of all my new shock travel
For good measure
