9.71 on M/Ts and 9.78 on Nitto’s.

Ron was on his way to break the record but was too low on fuel and wasn’t able to stay on it. Sucks for him, he had a better 60, 330’ and 1/8’ than Dodge’s 9.65 run.

I’m just thankful this car exists because 10-15 years ago this was unheard of in a stock car. The envelope continues to get pushed cause of cars like this. But yet the bitching over hero runs and this tire is what matters. I don’t wanna live on this planet anymore

It seems the ones that ran bone stock didn’t pull seats and were equipped with more options then the factory one that did the 9.65

How much of a difference it makes I’m not really sure. Currently it seems 9.80s are the best seen on the nittos unless someone wants to strip theirs down and pursue it further. I still don’t think it’ll be an easy task if possible because it’s a very cut throat hero run with that set up.

I’m a huge fan of this car but if I’m being frank it was a poor call on dodges pet to say it’s a 9.65 car. Did it run that, yes, is it capable, sure in perfect conditions. I think even if they said 9.75 you may see more drivers hit that.

Al that aside it’s a stellar car and dodge really is laying it all out on the table with their performance offerings and as such causing ford a Chevy to have to step up with their street car performance offerings. It’s a great time to be a car fan.

The best on Nitto’s is 9.78.

On the same car and same day with different DA....swapping the tires was a .4 difference. Demon went 9.80@137 on Nitto’s (DA -575) and 9.76@138 on M/Ts. (DA -1550)

It’s likely more to do with people claiming stock which it isn’t if a better tire is put on. That aside people will likely just complain to do so. Frankly no one can deny how great a performer the car is when it’s running 9s out the box and with a simple tire change even deeper into the 9s

Yes luxuries because all that can be put back on the car. Mustang owners for years have been pulling interrior and adding different fuels as well as wheel set ups.

This is nothing new to the car world. As far as I see it looks like 100% stock everything no drag set up, 10.08

Same demon that ran 9.71 in Houston with -1550 DA and 20mph headwind just ran 9.78 in Bakersfield with a 250 DA and no wind. Guess that headwind made that much of a difference. He also went 140mph.
