I picked up a black high mileage (123k) 03 back in December and loved it. It was my first Cobra and it was a blast to drive. It had a few issues I sorted out (FRPS) and it was back to running great.

Well after picking up this car and loving it but wanting something in newer condition I lucked into another 03. It's a silver one. This car is in great shape. It has 33k fluidyne heat extractor, 2.93 upper, some sort of CAI, Diablo MAFia, upgraded idlers, KB BAP, 18" FR500 replica's with 295 and 275 BFG KDW's, pillar guages (oil, water, boost), K40 Electronics Radar Detector, Pioneer in dash DVD, Short Throw Shifter, and an Aftermarket IC Reservoir. I think that's it.

Anyways, on to pics.

Good find, do you have both then?

I would have loved to keep them both and DD the black one but I had to let it go. I can't afford so many toys.

Can't wait til the weather breaks. I didn't mind driving the black one on crappy WV winter roads but this one is just to clean. It's been sitting since I got it home.

Buying this car was a funny story. It was supposed to have nearly 800hp and a built motor and transmission and all this suspension work. When I showed up to look at it the guy had no idea what he was talking about. I honestly believe the guy was taken by the previous owner and it didn't have any work done to it really when he picked up the car. Based on what it had it may have actually had some of the work and then the mods were taken off to be sold to the guy I got it from but they told him it was all still on it and he didn't know any better. It's funny or sad, depending on your outlook as to what people will try when dealing with cars.

I didn't even bother telling the guy he was wrong because the price was so right.

The man who I bought my car from, who was a really nice guy, thought the car was "turbo charged". He said he loves when he would get into it and "hear that turbo spool up". Some people just seriously are that oblivious to life.

But that's a nice looking Cobra. Congrats.

Your first Cobra was nice. This one is more than nice. I really love the wheels with this particular paint color, especially with the polished rim. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it, and I wouldn't blame you a bit for being anxious for Spring to arrive. Only 43 days to go. :)
