Auto swap questions?? I "searched"

Anyone have any experience with the 4r70w swap? I am wanting to toss the auto in my 99 eaton swapped cobra for my wife. I was thinking manual valve body but would like to keep the auto shift function for her. The car make 420 to the tire so I know a stock 4r will live behind it. I have the trans, convertor and most of the trans harness out of 96gt. Will I need a mach1 auto ecu or gt auto ecu and load my cobra tune in it? I have searched around the forums and haven't come up with much except being told to "search or teach the wife to drive stick"

Bauman controler will work. I am looking at doing this with a 4R70. My damn knees are junk. I am gonna try and use a B&M slap shifter. The transmission shop I am using has done several of these swaps. Good luck with your swap.

You just described my car. 99 Cobra, eaton swap with whipple, auto ECU. You can use any 99-04 auto ECU. I'd recommend a 27Mhz, 2002+.
