I finally was able to put my boss on a dyno this weekend to get a idea what it is doing number wise and see where i need to go from there. The dyno that was used was a mobile dynojet dyno. Normally i use a MD dyno but since the shop that i deal with had just recently re-installed there MD dyno was out of calibration. But all in all i was happy to see the boss put down
682hp & 499 of tq on 10lbs of boost and on pump gas. A return style fuel setup is already in the works since i do want to exceed 740 hp if possible. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

Very nice numbers for pump gas and 10#

Is it tame enough to DD with 10# of boost?

So far its only gone 11.3 @128 with a 1.58 60ft that is with a 29inch tall nitto nto5 drag radial out back. Still tunning the suspention out back plus the dame clutch is slipping up top so we are not shifting where its suppose to be shifted at:/

Nice numbers! Do you have 1/4 mile times and mph yet? How is the DD? Good looking car BTW!
The dd on this car is awesome couldnt tell it is a blown car unless you floor it. And the idle is incredible no hicups or anything sorta feels likes if your driving a almost stock boss

Nice #s. I definitely would be careful on running that much boost on pump 93.

If you plan to make 740, you will need a fuel system and either E85 or race gas on the stock block. You are probably at the limits now on pump 93. Don't forget, it takes HP to turn the blower, so you have to factor that in for fuel/safety.

You read my mind.amd yes im at the limits on pump gas so I just purchased a return style fuel setup so i can run e85. So for now until the setup comes in im running torco fuel additive with the 93, lund jr already made me aware of what you just mentioned.

Cool, sounds good. What return setup did you get? You will enjoy it!

You are in good hands with them for tuning.

With E85 or Race gas and a full fuel system, you should be good for turning it up. My Boss 302 made 788rwhp on 10-11psi yesterday at the AM show in the heat. Made 875rwhp on 12psi on JPC's load bearing dyno on Saturday. You will be able to make some power with the new setup!!

Im going to be running jpc's fuel setup rated at 1100hp. That will be more than enough for what i want to get out of the car. I read on Am's fb page about a boss dyno'ing high numbers yesturday was that you

Cool, you will love the JPC setup, that's what I'm running on my Boss, twin 465s with the option for a 3rd, JPC/CPE rails, etc. Very nice kit and super clean install.

Yes, that was my Boss 302 at the AM show as part of their dyno challenge.

Are you at the limit of 93 because of the boost # or the HP number?

Pretty much yes. So im gonna step up the fuel system and see where i end up. Im feeling confident i can reach my goal once the fuel setup is on and have lund take a whack at it and see where we end up power wise

As I said before... Sweet car!! The numbers are strong for pump gas. Sounds like you are ready for more. I assume you are running the stock trans and rear gears right? Does the car hook at all on the street??
