As mentioned, PCV system is a loop. If you want to run a filter on the passenger side, do the same on the driver side. This eliminates the unmetered air and subsequent effects on your tune. Some say it will introduce oil vapors/mist into the engine bay, but I have yet to experience any problems. Many others run this way without a problem.
