And you know it is done with care the way you want it (not just good enough)!

Absolutely. I would kill someone if I paid a lot of money for a motor and it went south. But if I build it then I know things will be done to perfection taking all the time I need. Instead of what I can get done in a work day.

If you plan on making 800whp with the aluminator, good luck.

the weak link in our cars are the Zollner pistons; they dont do too well in high boost, high heat situations, although someone who has been lucky to make a stupid amount of HP and have it last a year or two will try to tell you otherwise.

go to modularmustangracing.com (MMR) you will be able to build an aluminum blocked cobra motor for cheaper, with better pistons and bearings, among other parts, than the OEM stuff. Its also a little cheaper. your heads, valve covers and timing chain covers are perfectly reusable, unless there is an issue we dont know about.

6500 is unnecessary spending.

Good luck with your choice of motor to be used in your build.
He'd be better of getting a Re-Man with 05 heads and a warranty from Tousley!
