C Head Swap Questions (Yes More!)

I have read several threads trying to figure this out and am tired of searching.

When doing the swap and using a B to C lid adapter is there hood clearance issues with the stock hood?

I ask because there is a member here who did the swap with a half inch spacer with the C head intake (not adapter) and had to get a new hood.

Also am I correct that you can use the B head valve covers on C heads and retain the coil packs and wires?
