So i decided to install the MGW and change the trans fluid since its probably still the original from 04. Cleaned the drain pan out before draining the trans for curiousity reasons and when dumping the old fluid in the waste oil tank i see a few not many maybe like 25 tiny gold glitter flakes, the size of lead in a mechical pencil point. I guessing this is from the synco's and is just normal wear. Am i right?

Thanks

Manual transmission? I mean I would think its normal for wear and tear.. besides the TR3650 is a POS transmission in my opinion so I'm not surprised. Best answer I could give you. :)

Wasn't none of that in mine when I changed fluid, likely was original fluid since the car only had 14k miles when I bought it and when I changed the fluid at 36k miles it still looked pretty clean.
