Cleaning stuff

Is there anything we can use on the bolt heads to clean them up (when they are out) I would just like to clean anything that looks like it has oxidation on it, it looks like crap.
Anything we can dip them in or something to keep this from coming back?

I did that once before on my last cobra and it came back within about a month or so

I read a post on soaking them in rubbing alcohol. Ive got my intake bolts soaking in it for a while.... marginal improvement so far.
