Opps... wrong forum!
I am going to take a road trip form Texas (DFW) to New Mexico (ABQ) tomorrow on the 4th. I know the gas there is tough to find at 93 octane so I thought I would reprogram my truck for the 91 octane tune that comes on the tuner. Besides being safer it will be cheaper!
Question is... do I just opt for that option or do I have to restore the factory tune before I install the 91 octane tune? I am running the 93 octane tune today and I have no issue with the tuner so it should be straight forward.
Can anyone give me direction on this? The manual doesn't really cover changing the tune so maybe y'all can help.
