If I understand correctly Lightnings have a dual chip system so 2 tunes can be applied.

Is it possible to have one fast 450 - 500rwhp tune and another "valet" tune so if for example my wife uses the car I can switch it to a more basic setup that wont have her frying the tires or sending the car into a wall?

Any advice welcome.

if you have a handheld tuner, such as an x3 or xcal2 or predator, they will all hold multiple tunes. So yes, in that instance you can have a street tune, race tune and valet tune. the issue is the load time for each tune. Its not like just flipping a switch

Thanks for the info - I have a switch in my car for the "race" tune and its apparently instant although I dont feel anything different on the car.

The HH tuner can be used too I suppose.

Many years ago I had one of those "chips" from JDM that supposedly had two seperate tunes loaded on it and there was a small rotary switch connected in circuit so you could select which tune you wanted.
