I was wondering if dusting off a car hurts the paint? I was my car and put it in the garage/shed and by the time I get it back out like a week later sometimes even just after a few days it is really dusty. I was wondering if dusting the car off scratches it? Anyone here dust there car off? I know they make dust brushes but I have never used one.

After I put a good coat of wax on , I use a swiffer duster everyday. Dust the top surfaces first and save the rear bumper and lower quarter panels for last.

If the dust is light, a California Car Duster would be fine. If it is heavier, I'd go with somehting like Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. You never really want to rub or wipe dust or dirt on dry paint.

The dust is very light, and if I put my car cover on it wouldn't be on ther but I drive it to much for the car cover it just seems to scratch the paint more than its worth. But the dust is light I may give the California car duster a try.
