Thank god you're not a cop. "guns in plain-view" oh NOEZ! Do you call the cops when you see a cop with a gun in plain view?

You don't know the purpose of carrying a gun?

I think the officers should have EVERY right to ask for ID when stopping guys who open carry. First of all.. felons can't own firearms. The officers have every right to ensure the two guys are approved to even own weapons. And don't say "Oh, that's just an excuse to hassle them". It's not like felons wouldn't break the law if they thought they could get away without having an ID check. Any law abiding citizen shouldn't be afraid to show their ID if asked, especially in a situation involving a firearm in public.

Trust me, I'm a gun owner, I worked in the LEO world, and I support the right for all law abiding citizens to own firearms. But, common sense is still rule of the day. If you know your not breaking the law... you don't have to be an asshat proving it.
