It's not a draft, you get $50k cap to spend on players:

2 QB's
2 RB's
2 WR's
1 TE
1 Team kicker
1 Team defense

Depending on how well your players do week to week, they're worth more-or worth less.

After every week and can "renegotiate" and change your players.

Quicker to do it now to get your points up rather than waiting until after the season starts.
