Few pics from Qatar

I had the opportunity to go help a customer last week in Qatar so I thought I would share a few cell pics. Sorry for the crappy quality, I'm not a photographer. Its been a few years since I've been there, a lot of the construction is complete now, and the city of Doha is in my opinion approaching Dubi status. :banana:

Madman actually built this car when he was at triangle. But it spent some time at our shop before we shipped it across the pond. Its a 540in bbc with an F3R and a turbo 400. The car tipped the scales at 3180lbs with driver. Which is amazing for such a fat pig that weighed 3200lbs with no motor and trans when madman started it. We made some good progress with tuning, and the chassis performed flawlessly. It finally made its first 4 sec pass when I was there.

Sorry for the filth. The owner's screen name on ls1tech is 1dirtyz, I'd say it fits.

Problem solved the next day. Apparently I set a record, so I had to take a picture of him washing it.:beer:

I have been in Doha several times now. I know exactly where that mal is. The Villagio mall is pretty nice. I never been to the race tracks there. My favorite part is the Corniche water front area. Nice country....
