I've been road racing mustangs for the better part of 20 years. Well, not racing necessarily, more HPDE, hill climbing and autocrossing. I have a fox body that is prepped for AIX and it's incredibly quick, fun and easy to drive. Having said that, when I bought my 00R, I wasn't all that impressed with it. I admit, that I took it fairly easy with the occasional over application of throttle. Now...fast forward about 8 months. I'm a little less fearful behind the wheel. I still understand that it's an exceedingly rare car, but it was built for a purpose. I had the pleasure of enjoying it on what seemed to be an abandoned mountain road leading to a near empty lake. The sound of that car bouncing off of canyon walls at it's upper RPM range, leaping from corner to corner is INTOXICATING!!!! The car is just about awful to live with for the cruise around town, but allow it to breathe a little and attack a corner or two...WOW!!! Just thought I'd share. :-D
