to all you folks who have been ticketed for speeding, the following happened june 30 at about 11:15 pm on I-75. I was in the car with my wife and three kids, when a blur passed me, followed by a second blur. to my surprise, the first one was a florida state trooper, and the second one was an organ donor on a motorcycle. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? the trooper was IN FRONT of the motorcycle. a quarter mile ahead, the trooper turned on his lights for a few seconds, and got on the off ramp followed by the motorcycle. they turned into a service station, the trooper got out of his car and started talking to the organ donor. I parked a few feet away to go into the store, and was able to overhear part of their conversation. to my amazement, the officer asked the rider HE DIDN'T KNOW HOW HE COULD STAY ON THE MOTORCYCLE DOING 160, yes folks, 160.

That organ donor could have donated a whole lot lore than he was expecting doing 160. The FSP officer should also have not been driving anywhere near that fast, no matter who he is escorting. He put a lot of lives in jeapordy.

I don't understand you people what does it matter if your doing 160 in a car or on a motorcycle. In either one that you wreck you'll end up dead. Besides at anyspeed modern motorcycle are so much better handling. I have both a 96 cobra and a 2000 Zx12R and I feel much safer at high speeds on the motorcycle than in the car.
