It was an entertaining hit but I don't think it was the hit of the year. Who was the "winner"? They both got LAID OUT!!

I personally see nothing impressive about somebody laying a hit on somebody who isn't even looking or off balance. Are they hard hits, yes. However anybody running full speed can level somebody who isn't looking.
I played in High school with this guy, Marcus Riley. Clean hit too!

i think it was the college hit of the year.. second would be tebow getting lit up..

I was a couple of rows up in the student section right by that end zone for the LSU game. Chad Jones' hit looked like a completely legal hit from where I was, but it did happen pretty fast so I guess is hard to tell? The crowd did not approve of the call one bit. lol
That hit scared me for Wall. The way he went down with his arms extended and completely flexed made me think it was a gonna be way worse than just a concussion.

He was definitely leading with his shoulder. When Adams caught it and leaned with his head, Jones' head hit first. Doesn't mean he was leading with his head, though.

The Saints clothes lined a Patriots player on the kickoff return on Monday and I've been trying to find it ever since... anyone else see that hit? It was much bigger than the Kevin Faulk hit.
