I read this write up here: http://www.modularfords.com/threads/23568-Stock-Fuel-Pump-Wiring-Upgrade and it says it's for the stock pumps. When I bought my Whipple from a friend he included a 03/04 Cobra hat with GT pumps installed in it. It looks to have 2 holes where someone used nylon bushings with a nut and bolt to get power through the hat. That setup was abandoned since all the stock wiring is now being used and is connected.
So my question is, should I just do the wiring upgrade to the top of the hat like the write up says and leave the wiring to the actual pumps alone or should I use the holes to run bigger wire all the way to the pumps. I'm not in a position to buy a new hat at the moment so I need to make this one work. I appreciate the help.
