my dad has a pretty good theory on this kid. His mother was probably one of those parental types who protected her son from every form of failure, and raised him to believe that failure was never an option, and did everything she could to ensure he was always successful, expected success and never let him experience any sort of failures and always sheltered her darling little boy, and when he got into his advanced doctorate program, and he started failing, he couldn't handle it, and decided to go kill a bunch of people as a result.
