So in my car, when i try to adjust the temp setting I cant get the air to blow "warm" or halfway between cold and hot. Its either cold or as soon as i crank it just past all the way cold it goes full hot no matter how much i mess with it.
Heres my question. The car has A/C but the compressor is not hooked up at all, no power connections, and no belt on the pulley but the refrigerant lines are still connected. Does the A/C not being hooked up have any affect on the temperature adjustment? BTW the car is a 1978 chevy malibu and i think the controls are vacuum operated.
