You are not kidding. The builder's son, who is an avid spear fisherman, told me they caught a 42" snook out there in front of my property.

i got my feelings hurt by a 36-38 inch snook last week over in St Pete at about 1am...stupid pilings owned me lol

I know, that thing must have been a fighter. I can tell you at Port Manatee, there is an area with two outlet pipes that discharge warm water and the snook love it there. The only problem is you need a port pass to get there.
