I was replacing idlerbearings about every 20,000 to 30,000 miles. I've used every brand I know of and each one started to make noise after 20 to 30,000 miles.
I purchased a set of National bearings from orilleys and they have well over 40,000 miles. I'm sorry but I can't find the part # but you can get the number off your old bearings or search and use the timkin number. The National bearings were a couple $ higher but they have been well worth the extra money.
I always thought a bearing was a bearing. I was getting ready to go with some different pullies. Glad I talked to the guy at Orilleys he was having a similar issue with his pullies.
Don't waste your time with timekin bearings; I went thru 3 sets.
Hope this helps. You don't need to ditch your pullies,,,, just use the National bearings.
