installed BF 2.76/ ?

Ok, after 4 yrs I put new BF Idlers, and a new 2.76 on today, and thanks to Amazon for my MO tune. Yeah it basicly scared the crap out of me the 1st punch, everything looks fine , but I have this whining sound like a jet when I slow down, and even some at idle. Could this be the non-slip pulley or do I have a problem. Stock belt still ,Thanks

Sounds fine to me! Mine did the same also, as with other buddies of mine that have Cobras. I kinda liked the whining sound during idle.

yeah, it surprised me at first to, give it a week and you'll be used to it.

what kinda #'s did you put down? and how does your boost hold between 5000-6000rpm. My BF 2.76 peaks @ 14lbs but drops to hi 11's by 6000rpm.

I haven`t been to the dyno yet , but I will soon to get the A/F cked. The sound is ok, I was just worried I did something wrong, and have not heard about this from anyone.

that is normal. its funny cause if you never heard it you dont know it. had a girl riding in my car and we started to drive off and she set up real fast and started looking out the windows saying "is there a jet flying over?" I just had to laugh.

A gatorback belt will make more noise than other most of the time...

Get that A/F checked.

im just kiddin, i wouldn't consider it faint though, i can hear mine pretty clearly most of the time.
