intercooler pump bad??

I had this issue. My intercooler was clogged. I have a slightly used one I can sell ya. I upgraded to an after market one.

The intercooler pump "IS NOT" a direct couple pump!!! It is a magnetic coupled pump!!! So the motor can run, but NOT pump fluid!!! :shrug:

Had this problem today the rubber seal on the cap popped up and spewed coolant all over my window.

I see the coolant pumping like crazy. And if I put my finger in the tank its really not hot. I mean its hot but tolerable with skin. So does it still sound like a pump? If it was boiling and making pressure wouldn't it be quite hot to the touch?

I threw a new bosch one after I posted my update. It works, but it still takes about 5-10 seconds or so before it kicks in after I start my car.

Aren't they set to come on at a select temp?
