I love that there's no speedo... And what's up with those coils? That thing is for sure official like a referee whistle

Edit: $55k... Really?

Man I thought that thing would have a lot more serious motor setup in it...

Well, I'm impressed with the package. I like it. Made me think back when Hermann built his old SB Cobra.

This list of specs would be very cool in a street car but in this thing I'm surprised they don't just sell it as a roller because I don't know who would be keeping that engine combo buying this car?

2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Drag Car

Here is a very special car for someone that wants to head to the track for a day of fun and excitement! This 2003 Ford Mustang Cobra has undergone one of the best builds possible, starting with the COBRA instead of a standard Mustang! Aside from the perfect stance, this car is LOADED with the following components:

Proline Built 4.6 motor
Big Stuff 3
Kooks 1 7/8 to 3.5" headers
Kenne Bell 2.8 Mammoth Super Charger Kit
Neal Chance Powerglide and Custom 9" bolt together converter, JW, & Air Shifter
Custom Built 4 link 9" rear end with 40 spline gun drilled axles
Team Z Front suspension
Racecraft Drop Spindles
Aerospace and Strange Brakes
Full Chromoly 25.2 Cage, NHRA certified to 6.0 in 1/4 mile & Certification is current
33 x 10.5 MT Rear Tires with space to fit up to 16" wide slick
Custom built Chassis by Gene Steele in Mt Juliet, TN.
Tuned by Tim Barth at Modular Powerhouse
Dry Nitrous System with bottle heater and purge kit
NHRA Certified Parachute
Line Lock and Transmission lock
Poly carbonite windows
Custom Hand Built rear wing
Weld Wheels
**This vehicle is for track use only.
This car has only been run 15 total passes. Without nitrous this car runs 9.6 in the 1/4 all day long. A Modular twin turbo monster motor could easily be dropped into this chassis and break into the high 6's with little effort! Over $100k invested in this beast! Call for additional information.

Hmmm car is in Bowling Green, buy it today, drive across town and race tomorrow!!!

No way that car brings that kind of money, not in todays market where you can buy REALLY nice rollers all day long for a 1/3 of that price or less.

I bet whoever sold it took out the real drivetrain! Either that or didnt finish it. It looks really well put together, drop a sick motor in and go fast like Ricky Bobby!

That cars been forsale for a while and its a VERY well built car. Is it worth that kinnda dough?? Not in todays economy, however, its a great platform for a full out racecar. Nothing was overlooked and theres a lot of money tied up in the chassis!

I've seen that car on here or MF in a build thread.
The car is set up right and could easily be a monster
